Parent and Child Swim Lessons

Water Exploration
Offered for children six months to one year old. This class provides basic water orientation for parents and toddlers that will cover safety skills, holding positions, songs and time to bond with your child in the water.

Goldfish
Offered for children one to two years old. Both parents are welcome to attend class. Class time will be structured, with water and pool orientation, introduction to beginning swimming skills and structured water play. Potty training is not necessary; however, swim diapers are a must. No disposable diapers, please.

Sunfish
Offered to children three years of age. Completing Goldfish prior to Sunfish is recommended. Both parents are welcome to attend class. Class time will be structured to accommodate water acclimation, introduction to beginning swimming skills and guided discovery. This class is taught primarily to the child and parents provide moral support. The goal of Sunfish is to prepare the swimmer to independently and comfortably participate in the next class: Shrimp. Please wear swim diapers, if necessary. No disposable diapers, please.
