Information for Parents
From the Director
Camp Nan A Bo Sho (NABS) is located in Lakewood, Wisconsin in the Nicolet National Forest on 40 acres bordering the shores of Waubee Lake. The YMCA's character values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility are at the forefront of all of our activities. Camp, filled with fun and excitement, offers a wide range of outdoor activities including: target sports, arts and crafts, environmental education, swimming, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, adventure course, mountain biking, horseback riding and more. Campers have a chance to learn new skills in a safe, fun environment.
At NABS campers have many opportunities to grow. They gain independence by making decisions during free time. Campers experience an increased sense of responsibility by helping to keep their cabin clean or following established practices for safe participation in adventurous activities.
Camp Nan A Bo Sho is a place full of wide-eyed wonderment and fun. Come join us and you will see why it is called "The Land of the Great Spirit."
