Angela Monty, Head Coach is no stranger to competitive swimming. Angela is a certified ASCA level 3 age group coach, who started her competitive swimming career at age four with the New London Swim Club and swam until her first year of college at UWGB. Since swimming had been such an influential part of her childhood, it was her lifelong goal to become a swim coach. After she graduated from UWGB with a degree in Political Science and Business Administration, she was offered the head coaching position with New London Area Aquatics. During her time with NLAA/NEAT, she was voted in as a Wisconsin Zone coach for three consecutive years, worked with a six time state champion and a National Top 16 athlete. The athletes she worked with have been very successful at the high school, state, Zone C and Speedo Championship levels. After being a part-time head coach of NLAA/NEAT for nearly five year,s she decided to take the leap to coach full-time with the YMCA of the Fox Cities. Angela likes listening to music (Ipod), traveling, spending time at the beach and playing the game Sequence with her daughter Lexi, her son Payton and husband Tony. |

Kristin Trudell, Head Coach - Age Group |

Kristin grew up in Hartland, Wisconsin and started swimming at the age of seven. She continued to swim throughout High School and for 4 years at Luther College. Kristin competed at YMCA Nationals her Senior year of High School for the YMCA Pabst Farms Piranhas. During college she earned All Conference honors, was a four time letter winner, and is the current pool record holder in the 200 Butterfly. While at Luther College Kristin majored in Psychology and Health and minored in Wellness, Mental Health, and Management. She began coaching and teaching swim lessons at the age of 16 at the YMCA at Pabst Farms and continued to teach and coach when home from college and after college. She was the Head Coach of Oconomowoc Girls High School in the 2011 season and led them to a second place finish in the WLT Conference. Kristin enjoys cooking, baking, running, reading, snow skiing, and hiking. |
